Privacy Policy

What Anomaly Cafe Guide collects, and what it doesn't.

No accounts, no forms

This site has no user accounts, no comment system and no sign-up forms. We never ask for names, emails or any personal details to read the guides. If you email us voluntarily, we use your address only to reply.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4for anonymous, aggregate statistics — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and how the site performs. Google signals and advertising personalization are turned off. We see aggregated reports, not identified individuals, and we don't sell or share visitor data. GA4 may set cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy.

No products, no payments

This site does not sell any products. There is no checkout and we do not collect payment information.

Third-party links

Some pages link out to Roblox, YouTube or other sites. Once you click through, their own privacy policies apply — we have no control over what those sites do.

Your rights over this data

Analytics sits inside Google Analytics rather than in any database we run, and it carries no name or account — so there is no identifier we could use to find your rows in it, and a request about that pile is one to take to Google.

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to:

  • Access — ask for a copy of what is held about you.
  • Rectification — have anything wrong corrected.
  • Erasure — ask for it to be deleted.
  • Restriction — ask that it stop being used while something is disputed.
  • Objection — object to it being processed at all, analytics included.
  • Portability — receive it in a form you can take elsewhere.

If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what is collected and why, to have it deleted, to correct it, to opt out of any “sale or sharing” of it, and not to be treated differently for asking. We do not sell anything to anyone. On sharing, the honest answer is narrower than a flat no: this site runs no advertising, but the analytics tag does send identifiers to Google, and California's definition is broad enough that the cautious reading counts that. Blocking that script is the direct way to stop it, and everything on this site keeps working without it.

The practical route for the analytics pile is your own browser — an ad-blocker or cookie settings cut it off at the source, immediately, without asking anyone. This is a description of your rights and how to use them, not a claim that a one-person site has been certified compliant with anything, and we are not going to promise a response time we cannot keep.
